SALARY RANGE: $80,000 – $110 000/year based on experience & qualifications
LOCATION: Bellingham, WA, onsite

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Agronomy Scientist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in designing and performing experiments related to agrochemical research and formulation efficacy on plants and associated microflora under in vitro and in vivo conditions.
Primary Job Functions:
- Operate and work within our Mission Driven Culture Core Values and Principles
- Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the efficacy of agrochemical formulations on plants in hydroponic, greenhouse, and field settings and associated microflora under in vitro and in vivo condition.
- Develop and optimize experimental protocols to ensure accurate and reproducible results.
- Analyze data and interpret results to draw meaningful conclusions and make recommendations for product improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure successful product development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of research, experiments, and results.
- Present findings and progress to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge in Agronomy, Plant Science, Agricultural Microbiology, or a related field.
- Experience in designing and conducting experiments in hydroponic, greenhouse, and field conditions.
- Strong understanding of agrochemical research and formulation efficacy.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize experimental protocols.
- Experience with statistical analysis, experimental design, data analysis and interpretation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety standards in the agrochemical industry.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Work is performed within Tidal Vision’s Laboratory. This position will be expected and required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas and while on-site. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required. Candidate must be able to walk, bend, twist, crouch, kneel, and move freely with minimal limitation. Hiring is conditional upon background check.
